Just the right thing, at just the right time.

Tesla and I have continued to practice our ground driving. It is an amazing thing when you have just the right tool at just the right time. On Tuesday we had one other horse in the ring with us, and I could see how Tesla was having to be brave "all by herself" at the end of the reins, and it was exciting to watch.  And again this evening, when another horse was fresh on the longe - Tess gave one good look, and then we worked around the poles and jumps with no fuss. The plan is to keep working her on the ground until traffic is boring boring boring, moving forward, one step at a time :D

Can always tell when she is relaxed: the floppy lower lip gives it away ;)
