The first hint of winter hit the barn this week, and it was wet, windy, and chilly.
I decided to take Tess out in the little western (since this is the first bit of real weather we've had), but I needn't have worried, cause she was a rock-star!
It was raining in dramatic spurts, the wind was dragging stuff across the arena roof, and it sounded like the indoor was about to fall down around our heads, but she wasn't concerned at all.
We did all our tricks, and she even backed up over ground poles, and didn't care if they rolled a little.
She got ALL the "good girl"s, pats and snacks - I made a total fuss.

All the other riders wanted to snuggle Tess and tell her what a good girl she was too ;)
