There was break in the rain today - so I took the window of opportunity to zip to the barn.
I knew Tesla was gonna be a bit high, cause she stands in her box to keep her ears from getting wet LOL.
She was more than high, she had obviously had fizzy lifting drinks!

but the wonderful thing was - she still had a brain. She was listening, she was trying SO hard.
As we walked into the arena one of the gals was working a big chestnut on the longe, and he started to play. Tesla was super unsure, but walked nicely into the arena. She then giraffed as we made our way to the mounting block - and when she got in my space, I made her do some groundwork until she calmed down. We hitched up the longe line and off we went.

She offered up some beautiful movement (why is it you never have the camera when they look fabulous?!) and while everything was supercharged, her eye was on me the whole time.
Why yes, yes, you can be a horse kite as long as you are listening.
