95% sure it is an abscess: no heat/swelling/tenderness in the leg: Applying a Betadine and Epsom Salt pack and shoving the whole kitNcaboodle into an easy boot glove to draw it out and make things a bit more comfortable for her.
Fingers crossed it pops out soon!
What are your favourite ways of treating abscesses?
I will be surprised if at least one of my horses don't get an abscess with this total freeze! I tend to leave them alone and let the horse walk it out. If it seems really slow I will try a poultice but honestly I'm not convinced that they work but I try.
